Lena West is a woman who turned social media into a business. By that I mean things like facebook, her business http://www.xynomedia.com/ is marketing other business via social media. I found the chat to be very informative. I had no idea that so much was done wth social media that an entire industry could be built around managing it for marketing purposes. It was also interesting to see how fluid the company was kept to allow for it to change its focus with out changing its main idea and goal.
A question this arises is how much competition does she have in this industry? It seems she has been there since the get go, so does that make her one of the industries powerhouses?
