Is a programmer and a translator of spanish Literature, well versed in copyright law. Liz focused on discussing open source software. Open source is free software that you are allowed to mess with as an owner of it, you can reprogram it with the code behind it. She noted how it helped lead to the internet and the freedom it allows. Things like windows and mac OS are not open source and if you mess with them you violate their warranty.
The whole free software movement is an interesting one, taking a large hub with Linux a organization of open source programs. It was also interesting to hear about the issues with legal copyrigths on old poems and the diffculty with other countries laws and language barriers.
