So in my Intro to Professional Writing course, my classmates and myself have had the privledge of talking to some interesting people. Experts and workers in their feilds they all have taught me some great stuff which I am going to share here.
For starters Reginal Ponder an ad man and a movie critic. For one he inspired me with holding down both jobs, the movie bit is mostly for his own pleasure and I respect him greatly for that. Further I learned of the variety of fields that advertising encompasses, and of its various issues. Especially the social issues like dealing with race in an ad, one of Ponder's specialities. As in the proper ways to target a race when advertising and to not be offensive
